Originally formed in San Antonio in 1999, Potsie was founded by Steb (bass/guitar) and Lisa (leading vocals/ bass/guitar) where the two had met while playing in another band called Lull. After disbanding (Lull), Steb and Lisa decided to continue to work together and became the initial songwriters for the material that would later evolve into the musical project, Potsie. However, it only took a couple of months for Steb and Lisa to follow through with their pre-existing plans to reestablish in Austin. Once there, the band underwent several musical changes before being complete. In 2002, finally after teaming up with Andrew (guitar/vocals) and Jacob (drums), the two missing pieces of Potsie were found. The four have formed a strong musical collaboration and are concentrating their efforts at playing energetic shows as well as becoming a more prominent figure in the music scene.
